Everyone is searching for methods of easy weight loss. Many would say that it doesn’t exist. Others will say that it’s really not that hard, if you know what you are doing. I believe the most difficult part may be change. Not having enough time is the biggest excuse that many of us use for not losing weight. We feel as though there just is not enough time in the day to workout and eat a healthy diet.

Don’t make it too difficult at first, begin by simply eating healthier foods and trying to get some form of exercise everyday. Bad habits are difficult to break, but a great way to help you change those habits is by starting out slow.
Be Active Everyday
An excellent way to achieve easy weight loss is to make an effort to include as much activity into your day as you can. Try to be active for at least a half an hour each day. Anything that involves activity can be considered a workout it doesn’t have to be structured. There are many ways to do this, while a few may require a little thought, others are easy to implement.

1. A simple way to begin and an excellent way to get regular exercise is simply to walk. For many people, walking 10,000 steps a day and eating healthy, can be enough to maintain a healthy weight. Using a pedometer is a great way to help you keep track.
2. When you go to the store, park as far away as possible, so you can walk a little more. You will possibly even save more time by not having to look for a parking spot.
3. Take a walk with man’s best friend. If you haven’t had time to get any exercise throughout your day, take your dog for a walk. Not only will you be getting your exercise, but your dog will enjoy it as well.
4. Take a bicycle ride with your family. We are all very busy and we spend less and less quality time with our families. This way you get the best of both worlds, a little exercise and time with your loved ones.
5. Choose the stairs instead of the elevator. If you’re in a tall building and can’t climb the entire way, get off a few floors early and take the stairs the rest of the way. This could also be a way to track your progress. For example, by getting off at a lower level each week, you can measure you improvement.
6. Participate in sports such as tennis, basketball, or baseball. Many of us enjoy sports anyway, so this should be an easy one. Make an attempt to get a few people together to play a game. There are some sports you can even play by yourself.
7. When you’re talking on the phone at home, walk around the house. You may not even realize it, but you probably already do this.
8. Do a few simple exercises during television commercials. You’re not watching most of them anyway. Activities that cause your heart rate to go up can help you lose weight.
9. Yard work is also a good way to get a little exercise. You will be accomplishing two things at once.
You won’t have to do as much exercise to lose more once you have started to lose weight. Getting enough exercise to keep it from coming back is the key.

Choosing a healthy diet is also an important factor in easy weight loss. Simply changing some bad habits and starting to make better decisions about what you are eating can make a big difference.

1. Drinking water can help reduce water retention caused by sodium and helps the body metabolize stored fat into energy. It also helps suppress appetite.
2. There are seven calories in 1 gram of alcohol. Every one of these calories are empty calories. Because alcohol has no nutrients, the more you drink the more fat you are putting into your body. Only drink in moderation if you are going to drink alcohol.
3. Cutting out junk food such as chips, cookies, and candy can be just the beginning of creating healthier eating habits. Even though these foods taste good, many healthier choices can taste just as good.
If you are just starting out, don’t be concerned with how little it seems you are doing; just focus on being active and eat healthier on a consistent basis. In order to get to where you can get the amount of exercise needed to lose fat, it may take some time. You’ll see that achieving easy weight loss is not as difficult as it seems. The idea is simply to get the physical and mental process going.
