Many people these days are trying to lose weight. They are trying all different kinds of things. Popular diet plans. Over exercising. Really, with all of the media coverage and general hype about the different ways to lose weight, you’d think that all of us would be thin. However, that is definitely not the case. Perhaps we are making things a little bit more complicated than they need to be. Perhaps the optimal way to lose weight is sitting right in front of us, right in a clear glass. Perhaps the miracle drug for losing weight is pouring from our very faucets. There are many ways water can help you lose weight. Water is truly the natural way to drop the pounds and get in to any pair of skinny jeans. Water flows from our very faucets. It runs as rivers through our land. In other words, water is one of the most plentiful resources we have on earth. Why not use it to lose weight?
The kidneys
The kidneys need plenty of water to survive and do their normal function. Without water, the kidneys start to panic and your body begins to go into what is called survival mode and retain water. Where is this water stored? It could be in your ankles. It could be in your knees. If even be in those little pouches that are around your belly. The ones you cannot seem to get rid of. This type of water is toxic water. It is not clean, and it is not pure. However, since you are not drinking enough water, storing it is all your body knows how to do.
The liver
Since your kidneys need a lot of water, you will be doing a detriment to your body if you do not get enough . The liver will have to take slack for the kidney. The liver’s job is to metabolize the body’s fat and turn it into energy. It cannot burn as much fat as it would normally burn if it has to do the kidney’s job as well as it’s own.
Drink it.
For the above reasons, you want to drink as much water as you can. However, eight glasses is the essential average. It’s a great way to use water to help lose weight. Unfortunately, make promises to themselves that they will drink more water. However, few people stick with that.
