And yes, your body needs carbohydrates as well in order to function properly. 

Drinking lots of water is also very important if you want to loose weight. When the body burns fat it produces toxins which need to be expelled from the body and this is usually done by the kidneys. The thing is that the kidneys need a lot of water in order to function properly so water deprived kidneys might lead to slow and inefficient weight loss.</description>
